Import from Wialon
To transfer data from the Wialon system, use the Import from Wialon module. Data migration is performed through a migration wizard — simply select the objects you need and import them into PILOT.
Before transferring data, make sure your Wialon account has export permissions — specifically, access to the Import/Export feature. If you don’t have these permissions, the Import from Wialon won’t be able to export any objects.
|
How to import data:
1. Enable the Import from Wialon module in the admin panel. After this, the Import from Wialon button will appear in the Main tab
2. Click the button

3. The migration wizard window will open, divided into two parts:
-
On the left: a list of migration tasks
-
On the right: a list of Wialon objects available for transfer
4. Create a new migration task:
1) Click Add task
2) In the pop-up window, fill in the fields:

-
Wialon login — your Wialon login
-
Wialon password — your Wialon password3) Click Load object list from Wialon4) At the bottom, you’ll see a list of objects available for import. Check the boxes next to the objects you want to import
Objects marked as processed are already selected in other tasks and cannot be chosen again.
|

5) Click Save
5. The new task will appear in the list on the left in the migration wizard. All statuses will be empty, meaning the task has not yet started.
6. To start the data transfer, click on the task in the list and then click Run task
Once started, the task cannot be edited.
|
7. After starting the task, data transfer will begin automatically.
The status of each step will update in the migration wizard window — this usually takes less than a minute.
Wait for the process to finish: you’ll see the statuses change and new data appear.
To monitor the migration process and see the latest statuses, click the Refresh list button.
After running task ID: 322, the only Wialon object was fully and successfully transferred to PILOT.
