Route GPS

The Route GPS report helps you monitor planned trips, including visits to checkpoints, driving time, trip duration, distance travelled, and unplanned stops.

The report includes only routes on which an object made a trip during the selected period. Routes without trips are not displayed.

The report is designed for round-trip routes consisting of three checkpoints:

1. The starting point — the company’s premises.

2. The intermediate point — the customer’s location.

3. The final point — the same company premises.

What the report shows

Vehicle No — the object’s vehicle number
Customer Name — the name of the second-to-last checkpoint on the route
Actual Start Time — the date and time when the trip started
Time arrived at customer location — the date and time when the object arrived at the second checkpoint
End Time — the date and time when the trip ended and the object reached the final checkpoint. For a round-trip route, the final checkpoint is the same as the starting point
Actual Route — the route followed during the trip
Trip Status — indicates whether the driver visited all planned checkpoints:
Finished — all checkpoints were visited
Unfinished — one or more checkpoints were not visited, or the trip has not yet been completed
Time In Transit — the time the object spent moving during the trip
Trip Duration — the time from the beginning to the end of the trip
Distance Travelled — the distance covered by the object during the trip
Number of Stops Outside Planned Geofence — the number of stops made outside the planned checkpoint geofences
Number of planned stoppage — the number of checkpoints included in the planned route

Viewing the route on the map

To examine the object’s movements in more detail, expand the Map panel and select the required report row. The map displays the data for the selected day:

trips made by the object, shown as lines with arrows indicating the direction of travel;
parking events, shown with P markers;
the planned route, shown as a dashed line;
route checkpoints, shown as numbered markers.

If the object made several trips during the day, their lines may overlap.

A collapsible Trips panel appears on the left side of the map. It shows the start time, date, and distance travelled for each trip. Select a trip to display only its route on the map.

Select a checkpoint marker to view:

the checkpoint name
its coordinates
its address

Parking events

The map displays all parking events associated with the selected day. The last parking event is also included if it started on the selected day and ended on the following day.

For example, if the object parked at 5:00 PM and resumed moving at 9:00 AM the following day, the parking time is included in Trip Duration. Therefore, the trip duration may sometimes exceed 24 hours.
