Trips and parkings (charts and maps)

The Trips and Parkings (charts & maps) report provides summary and detailed information about the trips and parkings of the selected monitored object during the specified period. It allows you to analyze the number and duration of trips, start and end locations, parking events, mileage, and speed indicators.

A chart showing changes in speed and mileage and a map showing the route, parking locations, and recorded events are displayed below the report tables.

The Report Summary section displays the object’s overall indicators for the selected period:

• Object — the vehicle name, registration number, or fleet number

• Start time — the date and time of the first recorded trip

• Start location — the address where the first trip began

• End time — the date and time when the last recorded trip ended

• End location — the address where the last trip ended

• Trips — the total number of trips

• Moving duration — the total time the object was moving

• Parkings — the number of recorded parking events

• Parking duration — the total duration of parking events recorded between trips

• Mileage — the total distance traveled by the object

• Idling duration — the total time during which the engine was running while the vehicle was not moving

• Speed maximum — the highest speed recorded during the selected period

• Speed average — the object’s average speed during the selected period

The Total row shows the combined number of trips and parkings, moving and parking durations, mileage, and idling duration.

The Trips details section contains a separate row for each trip:

• Start time — the trip start date and time

• Start location — the address where the trip began

• End time — the trip end date and time

• End location — the address where the trip ended

• Duration — the total trip duration

• Stop duration — the duration of stops associated with the trip

• Engine hours — the engine operating time during the trip

• Mileage — the distance traveled during the trip

• Speed maximum — the highest speed recorded during the trip

• Speed average — the average speed during the trip

The start and end addresses are displayed as links and allow you to open the corresponding locations.

The Parkings details section contains information about recorded parking events:

• Start time — the parking start date and time

• End time — the parking end date and time

• Duration — the total parking duration

• Location — the address where the object was parked

The Chart below the tables shows changes in speed and mileage over time:

• Horizontal axis — time within the selected reporting period

• Left vertical axis — vehicle speed in km/h

• Right vertical axis — accumulated mileage in kilometers

• Speed — changes in the object’s speed over time

• Mileage — changes in accumulated mileage

Sections where the speed is zero represent periods when the object was not moving. An increase in the Mileage line indicates that the distance traveled was increasing.

Hover over a point on the chart to display a tooltip containing the corresponding date, time, and recorded speed.

The map below the Chart displays the vehicle’s route during the selected period. The route line shows the recorded path, while the arrows indicate the direction of travel.

The map may display:

• the beginning and end of the route

• parking locations

• recorded events

• speed-related event points

• route information points

You can pan and zoom the map. The current pointer coordinates are displayed at the bottom of the map. Use the layer selector to change the map layer.

Select a speed-related event marker on the map to open a card containing the following information:

• Speed — the vehicle speed recorded at the selected point

• Date — the event date and time

• Message — the event description, such as exceeding the configured speed threshold

• Coordinates — the geographical coordinates of the event

• Address — the address corresponding to the event coordinates

Select a parking marker to open a card containing the following information:

• Date — the parking start date and time

• Duration — the parking duration

• Coordinates — the geographical coordinates of the parking location

• Address — the address where the vehicle was parked
