Commands
Use commands to request information from a device, change its settings, and control connected equipment. For example, you can check the firmware version, request the current device status, or activate an output.
Available commands, their parameters, and reply formats depend on the device model. Refer to the manufacturer’s documentation for command syntax and supported parameter values.

Two modules provide command functionality in the PILOT web interface:
-
Commands module — create commands and sequences, configure sending conditions, and work with templates.
-
Communication tube module — send commands from an object’s context menu and view command history and device replies.
The modules can work together or independently. When both are enabled, the interface provides the features of both modules.
You can also send commands from the admin panel.
