Type
Description
GPRS

SMS
Sends the command to the device as an SMS message through smsgateway24
Before sending SMS commands, configure the smsgateway24 integration. See “Sending commands via SMS” for setup instructions.

The command list depends on the selected device type. PILOT technical support adds commands to this list. If the command you need is missing, contact support.

Select a command and complete the fields that appear. The available parameters depend on the equipment and selected action.

Command syntax, parameters, and reply formats depend on the device model. For details, refer to the manufacturer’s documentation. For example:
In Command valid, enter the command’s validity period and select a time unit.
For example, enter 1 and select Hours to set a validity period of one hour.
In the editor’s right panel, you can select geofences, set a time interval, time zone, and days of the week, and require a master password to confirm sending.

Geofences
Under Geofences Filter, specify where the object must be for the command to be sent:
-
Anywhere — send regardless of the object’s location.
-
In selected zones — send if the object is inside the selected geofences.
-
Outside selected zones — send if the object is outside the selected geofences.

Select the required geofences in the list. To select all geofences, click the checkmark button
.

Time interval
Under Time Filter:
1. Set the start and end times in From and To
2. Select a time zone in Timezone
3. Select the days of the week
Choose the time zone whose local time should apply to the interval.
To require confirmation before sending, select Use master password.
The master password is set in the account’s Main settings in the admin panel. When prompted, enter it in the Sending a command dialog and click Send.

You can add multiple commands in the editor and configure their execution rules.
To add or remove a command, click
. Use the up and down arrows to change their order.
In Rule, select an execution rule:

Rule
Description
Together
Send the commands together
After
Send the command after the previous one
If Fail
Send the command if the previous one fails
If Success
Send the command if the previous one succeeds
For example, for an ADM333, add two separate send_message blocks:
-
Enter STATUS in the first block to request the current device status.
-
Enter IMEI in the second block to request the GSM module’s IMEI.
Use After to send the commands in sequence: the system sends STATUS first, followed by IMEI.

To see how to use the Commands module and send GPRS commands, watch the video “Using the Commands module: how to send GPRS commands” on YouTube.
The video demonstrates how to send commands to devices and track the history of sent commands in the system.
